Ingredients
FRUCTOSE
Fructose is a natural sugar, existing in among other things fruit and honey. It is an instant carbohydrate which increase blood sugar levels that are reduced through stress, strain or excessive alcohol consumption. Glucose is quickly available to the body, while fructose provides energy over a more prolonged period. Fructose has been under scientific studies in Denmark and Germany, where its unique ability to increase the oxidation of alcohol has been proven.
GLUCOSE
Glucose is the blood sugar of the body and the simplest form of carbohydrates that the human body assimilates. Glucose is a supplement to the fructose in the recipe.
SODIUM BICARBONATE
Helps to regulate the acidity base in the stomach and the blood. Side effects: no known side effects when taken in moderate quantities.
VITAMIN C
The vitamin is an important part of the making of collagen, which is crucial to the growth and formation of new cells. Side effects: in extreme doses it may cause diarrhoea.
POTASSIUM CITRATE
Regulates, together with sodium, the fluid balance of the human body and normalises the phase of the heart.
L-CYSTINE
The stable form of the sulphurous amino acid cystine. Cystine can help the body to bind and protect it from hazardous free radicals that are normally created by tobacco smoke and alcohol. Cystine need vitamin C in order to function properly. Side effects: high doses of cystine are not recommended to people with diabetes.
MAGNESIUM OXIDE
Aids the adoption of vitamin C, potassium & sodium. Helps transform the blood sugar into energy.
L-GLUTAMINE
Plays a central role in both nitrogen (protein) and energy metabolism, and message transmission in nerves.
CHOLINE
An essential component of cell membranes and the nerve messenger, acetylcholine. Believed to be involved in fatigue avoidance.
VITAMIN B1 THIAMINE
A cofactor important for the healthy functioning of the central nervous system and the brain. Also important in muscle metabolism.
VITAMIN B6 PYRIDOXINE
Another important cofactor in muscle metabolism, message transmission in the nervous system and in the maintenance of the immune system.
TRICALCIUMPHOSPHATE
Provides a source of the nutrients calcium and phosphorus.
