
FEELFINE was initially developed in conjunction with alcoholic researchers, specialized in the human body’s reaction after consuming alcohol, at Karolinska Medical Institute in Stockholm. Since then it has been refined to a functional drink which is classified as a food product and therefore does not need any special approval from any health and drug departments in EU countries.
The FEELFINE original recipe is based on scientific studies at Departement of Forensic Medecine at University of Copenhagen, firstly by Niels Tygstrup, Kjell Winkler and Frank Lundqvist, documented in Journal of Clinical Investigation, and then by Frank Lundqvist and H. Wolthers. These studies show the influence of fructose on the human body and its proven effects in aiding the system to rapidly recover.
They could also prove, after experiments that (the ingredients in the drink) could speed up the oxidation of alcohol in the body, something which in the past was not considered as possible. As supplementary information there are references from German scientific studies confirming the effectiveness of the substances in the drink.
FEELFINE has several active ingredients where the exact formula is considered the key for its effectiveness. This knowledge has never been used in a commercial way before. The drinks formula was later developed in close collaboration with medical experts in Sweden. The experience from this development work has later been used to create a commercial consumer product – FEELFINE.
